I am in the process of moving my web site to a new service provider. My former ISP, mysitespace.com, had extremely poor security and very poor customer support. My web site was hacked numerous times, and the last attack took it down for several days. The hackers modified files on my site by inserting links for non-prescription drug web sites, changed file permissions to #000, and they placed other illicit files on my site. Mysitespace.com was never able to repair the problems. I am left to do a lot of repair/restoration work that I did not ask for. Two morals: Do NOT use mysitespace.com as your ISP and when choosing an ISP, always choose one that has a phone number so that you can talk to a real human being. I chose godaddy.com, so we'll see how that works out.
