Woohoo! Some of you have been asking, and I'm happy to say it's almost here! The 3rd Edition of OpenGL Shading Language is at the printer and should be available at finer bookstores worldwide within the next two weeks! I have to say megaThanks and doubleWoot! to Bill Licea-Kane who carried the ball on the 3rd Edition and to Daniel Ginsburg who helped to just get 'er done.

OpenGL Shading Language, 3rd Ed.
OpenGL Shading Language, 3rd Ed.

This edition has been updated for OpenGL 3.1 and shader examples reflect version 1.40 of the OpenGL Shading Language specification.

Another cool feature of this edition is that purchasing the physical book provides free access to the online edition as well.

Over the next few days we'll be working to get the new shader examples and related materials posted to the web site.
