Woohoo! Some of you have been asking, and I'm happy to say it's almost here! The 3rd Edition of OpenGL Shading Language is at the printer and should be available at finer bookstores worldwide within the next two weeks! I have to say megaThanks and doubleWoot! to Bill Licea-Kane who carried the ball on the 3rd Edition and to Daniel Ginsburg who helped to just get 'er done. |

Hey everyone! I know it's been a long time since I've made any updates to this site. I haven't had a lot of news to share. But I thought you might be interested in the fact that I got a new car! Why is that relevant? Well, it fits nicely into the theme of this web site. Check it out... |

Well, it had to happen. 3Dlabs has taken down the developer site that we worked so hard at when we were there. We do have to thank them though, they hosted the OpenGL Shading Language code and demos for two full years after they laid all of us off. I have all the files that 3Dlabs used to host and they are available now on 3Dshaders.com. Some of the files are huge (70MB+) and I don't have unlimited bandwidth on this account, so please be courteous with downloads. If it gets out of hand (i.e., over my bandwidth limit) we'll have to sort out something else. If you buy stuff on Amazon through my links, that might be sufficient to cover an increase in bandwidth. :-) Thanks to everyone who reported the broken links on my site when 3Dlabs pulled the plug on the GLSL developer site. |
